About Zoe
I have studied photography since 2001, when I began to develop my own personal style of fine art photography. My primary interest is in the concept behind images, always seeking hidden meaning; so I have aimed to apply this to my work.
As a professional wedding photographer, I approach my work creatively, coming at things from a decidedly subtle angle. I aim for the less obvious shot, resulting in deeply atmospheric and meaningful photographs. My work has a contemplative quality which couples say helps them to reflect on each part of their day, often from a perspective that they didn't originally witness.
I prefer to capture otherwise unseen moments, drawing attention to their inherent, natural grace and beauty. As weddings are a celebration of love, they present so many opportunities for truly meaningful photographs. I work in a relaxed and unobtrusive way, so as not to startle people or artificially influence the scene. Unaffected behaviour photographs much more enduringly. I bring depth and maturity to my professional projects. In my personal life, I love to visually document the lives of my friends and people around me in a memorable way. Whatever nuance of mood you wish to capture, I hope to convey it.
